About

We Started in a Lounge Room.

A sewing machine. A fifteen-year-old with an idea she couldn't shake. A mum who said yes when she probably should've said let's think about this.

The first pieces were corsets, made by hand, one at a time, for friends' formals and birthdays and every night that mattered. It worked. People wore them. Then more people wore them. And somewhere between the kitchen bench and the late-night packing runs, we became a brand.

We grew fast. Maybe too fast for two people still figuring out how to be mother and daughter and business partners at the same time. So we stopped. Not for a season. Not for a press release. We stopped because some things need quiet before they can grow properly.

The pause was uncomfortable. It was also the best thing we ever did.

We're back now, fully, properly, with intention. Dibo Bodi is still made by hand in Melbourne, still released in limited drops, still never mass produced. But we're not just corsets anymore. We're linen trousers and cotton sets and denim pieces built for the everyday, not just the big night. Adjustable backs and lace-up details on everything, because fit has always been the whole point.

We're a mother and a daughter who finally figured each other out, building something on equal ground. That's what you'll find in every piece we make.

We're glad you're here.
